About Me

Nick Ring

My name is Nick and I live in Northcentral PA with my lovely wife and two kids. I am an avid sports fan, reader, and enjoy playing chess or any kind of board game. I look forward to getting to know you as well.

I have worked in both public accounting and private industry. In public accounting, I was an audit manager at a national firm, where the majority of my work was with nonprofit organizations, 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(6) entities. That work gave me deep experience with the nuances of nonprofit accounting and reporting, including Uniform Guidance audits, accounting for restricted funds, evaluation of conditional contributions under ASU 2018-08, and endowment management and accounting.

Additionally, I have experience as a Controller in both the Construction and the Higher Education industries. This exposure has given me a diverse background that allows me to have a deep understanding of both internal and external reporting needs.
